GENERAL DESCRIPTION: EP5342 is a two component, room temperature curing, rigid, unfilled system with moderate viscosity. EP5342 has very little odor and uses a low toxicity resin and a special "safety" hardener that is low toxicity. Both resin and activator have high flash points, thus low flammability. This system has been very successful in tooling, electrical, chemical and adhesive applications.

SUPERIOR PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: This system offers reliable physical properties. Upon full cure, EP5342 has higher tensile and compressive strength and better chemical resistance than most other epoxy systems. In addition it has a lower odor.

Recommended mix ratio is 4 parts of A with 1 part of B, by weight. This provides a 20 minute pot life, and a 24 hour cure time at room temperature. Pot life and cure time will vary depending on temperature, humidity and casting thickness. The resultant unreinforced plastic has these properties:
