GENERAL DESCRIPTION: EP7703 is a finely-divided, atomized aluminum powder which is compatible with various Eager Plastics resin systems such as epoxies, polyesters and urethanes. It is a high purity (99.7%) aluminum powder that is also ideal for experimental use in industry or academia. The addition of EP7703 provides the following outstanding features:

(1) Fine particle size for easy mixing
(2) Creates pewter-like gray color
(3) Reduces resin exotherm
(4) Reduces shrinkage
(5) Improves machinability
(6) No odor or toxicity
(7) No effect on subsequent decoration procedures (i.e., painting)
(8) Good age stability. Resists fading.


Recommended proportions vary. Add EP7703 to suit application keeping in mind that the greater the amount, the thicker the viscosity and the cooler the peak exotherm. Our aluminum powder has the following properties:

Powder shape: spherical to elliptical
10% are less than 18 um in size
50% are less than 58 um in size
90% are less than 119 um in size
