Dry Gas Blanket Aerosol Spray

XTEND-IT is a dry gas blanket designed to extend the shelf life of moisture sensitive polyurethane products (paints, plastics, rubbers, coatings) by displacing the moist air in the container it is sprayed into. Applying the XTEND-IT dry gas blanket to the unused portion of a liquid polyurethane, before replacing the lid on the container, will significantly extend the shelf life of the product.

Using XTEND-IT is primarily a preventetive measure. If you have a large quantity of urethane liquid that you suspect may ALREADY BE contaminated with moisture (the castings foam or expand when curing), you should consider Eager Polymers' Molecular Sieves, which can sometimes reverse the effects of the contamination.
